Sunshine Steering was established over 15 years ago when Dave the owner decided that he wanted to build a mechanic business that was honest to its customers and fair to its employees. At that point in time Dave already had 10+ years experience working as a qualified mechanic, and he has used his experience, knowledge and work ethic to develop Sunshine Steering into the mechanical workshop that it is today – boasting seven employees including four full-time mechanics.

Nation wide guarantee: We are certified REPCO mechanics, so any mechanical work that we perform on your vehicle is guaranteed nation-wide by all other REPCO mechanics.
Ride to local area: When you drop your car off for a service at Sunshine Steering, we’ll give you a ride to anywhere in the local area including back home, to work or to the local train or bus station.
Free full inspection with every job: We have a checklist that we use to check every car that enters our workshop – so if you bring your car in to get the brakes checked and we notice that it is due for an oil change or will need a new battery in the coming months, we let you know so that you can plan and budget accordingly.
One stop shop: We take care of everything mechanical and car related, from safety modifications and pre-purchase inspections through to wheel alignments and power steering. We also have just about every kind of nut and bolt you could ever wish for in stock!
Over the phone estimate: We are always happy to provide you with an estimate for the service or repairs that your vehicle requires and we will do our best to be as accurate as possible so that there are no hidden surprises.
Always know what you will spend: If we locate a problem with your vehicle when it is in for a logbook servicing or general mechanical service, we will always call you with an estimate and ensure that we have your approval before moving forward with the repair – this way you will always know how much you are spending.
We organise tow trucks: If your car breaks down or it won’t start and you can’t get it to our workshop, give us a call on (07) 5478 8020 and we’ll organise a tow truck to come and get it.
